Design team collaboration with artists Bill Will, Norie Sato, Tad Savinar and Mierele Ukeles, Tri Met engineers, ZGF architects and Murase Assoc. landscape architects. Design of twelve stations including landscape, seating, architecture, hardscape etc. Art budget integrated with overall construction budget. Washington Park metro station features
artist-designed timeline etched in granite panels, handrail made from core sample drilled on site of tunnel and seating that mimics geology of core sample.
